Happy Birthday Eloise!| A Backyard Family Session

Eloise just had a milestone birthday and party! This was her first “real birthday party” ever!  Of course her family has had celebrations and dinners for her before, but this time all her friends and family were invited and it was an acutual PARTY!  She just turned 80 and looks and feels wonderful!  Pam, Eloise’s daughter, reached out to me about doing a family session for her parents with all their kids, grandkids and great grankids before the party started (which I thought was a great idea)!  So here is their family backyard portrait session!  2019-10-11_00272019-10-11_00042019-10-11_00282019-10-11_00032019-10-11_00082019-10-11_00262019-10-11_00292019-10-11_00192019-10-11_00212019-10-11_00222019-10-11_00302019-10-11_00242019-10-11_00112019-10-11_00142019-10-11_00092019-10-11_00152019-10-11_0010Eloise, I hope you have the happiest year yet!

All the best!

Hey Laura, yes Eloise does look great for 80 and her guy looks well preserved for that age too. A few pictures down I thought wow that one woman there favors Julia. Then when I saw a close-up of Lauren I knew it was Julia. Such a full of life adorable little girl. I’m glad you enjoy photography so much,Laura, helping people preserve memories.

What a nice gift for generations to come. I know one of my favorite things since I was a child is just sit with family and look through boxes of old family photos and new ones. ( It can be more fun and entertainment than watching a movie)

As priceless as the old photos are, the new ones are priceless too because life is so fragile and you never know when that might be the last family photo of one of the people in it, or just in the present state of health. ( as you remember my cousin Michael who went from a vibrant intelligent healthy 12-year-old to a vegetable for the next 20 years after a bad vaccine.)

So your work and talent is an extremely awesome for those who are fortunate enough to hear about you and request your service. Preserving memories.
