Rob & Stacey| A Garden Estate Wedding at Homewood| Asheville, NC

Rob and Stacey had their wedding at this classic Estate in Asheville, NC. The couple both share a love of history and travel so this venue was a perfect fit for them. They visit Asheville often, so having a destination wedding in Asheville seemed like the perfect fit for them. The couple did a first look together before the ceremony. Rob’s expression when he turned around was priceless! The first look was followed by an intimate ceremony in the garden, cocktail hour on the grounds, then a reception in the grand hall. Rob and Stacey both looked amazing and they seem truly happy together. The whole day was perfect with the exception of road construction and traffic on the way. It caused delays for some of the family and guests, but thankfully everyone made it in time for the ceremony! Stacey picked ivory and blush flowers mixed with an abundance of greenery which radiated soft, simple elegance. The geometric centerpieces at the reception added a modern flair to the classic setting. Everything was so beautiful.

Rob and Stacey are my family (Rob is my step brother) so I knew many of the guests. That made this wedding extra fun for me (especially the reception). Rob’s grandmother, Betty, gave the prayer for the food. It was so sweet and such a honor for her to be able to do that. The DJ , Robby, was AMAZING. I even overheard some guests comment that the party dancing felt kind of like a high school prom but better! There was a crowd dancing every single song the entire night ,which made for a very entertaining evening. The flower girl, our niece, danced every single song! She was so cute. I almost wished I could have danced and I don’t dance! Not well anyway!

The couple did a first look. I LOVE Rob’s expression.
Our little niece Lauryn. Best flower girl ever!
Cousins at cocktail hour. I have watched these kids grow up! Michael and I used to play cards games with them at the beach. I feel old now!
The geometric centerpiece adds a touch of modern flair.
Rob’s grandmother gave the blessing for the meal.
Mother of the Groom Dance.
She literally danced the entire night!

I wish the couple the best and welcome Stacey to our family. Thank you for inviting me to be part of such a special day.
